The simple but nice room was comfortable and clean, and I loved the cozy garden with the hammocks. The location was great, close to the town center and bus station. the staff was very friendly and helpful, offering advice about places to visit in the area.
When it rained, water leaked into our room and ruined our belongings, including electronics. We reported the issue to the staff, but they didn't offer to reimburse us for the damaged items.

The rooms at Hostel Oryx Valladolid are cozy and comfortable, with air conditioning to beat the Yucatan heat. I loved having a private bathroom with a refreshing shower, making me feel right at home.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the bathroom's shower pressure, but that's just my preference.
